Who could have seen this coming on General Hospital? We’re pretty sure even Willow couldn’t, and she’s the one who orchestrated the whole thing! Because in her quest to frame Michael for Drew’s shooting, it looks like she accidentally framed Chase instead!

If you’re going to frame someone, you need to be a pro at it, and Will, clearly, isn’t. She made things a little too neat, and when Drew’s key was found on Michael’s keyring, Dante and Nathan were left wondering how he could be so sloppy and lie to them so plainly. Then when ADA Turner complimented the fellas on checking Michael’s keys, Nathan refused to take the credit. It was, after all, Chase’s idea!

That alone would have been fine, except for Wiley and Ric. While Michael was called down to the police station, Ric was left to watch his son. And Riley, completely innocent as to what he was saying, let on to Ric that the keys the police were so interested in were the same ones Uncle Chase took!

That was enough to send Ric down to the police station with Michael and drop the bomb on Justine and Dante when they asked who would want to frame Michael. Well, the cutthroat legal eagle replied, maybe they should ask Chase that question since Wiley caught him with the keys! And that, unfortunately, was that. It was a wickedly fun (and we do mean wicked) twist as we realized Willow might have accidentally set up her #1 hero for a fall.

But with Luke’s memorial episode on Friday, it will be days before we see where this goes next! Is Chase about to be questioned? Arrested? No matter what, it was something of a brilliant move on General Hospital‘s part. Fans aren’t going to want to miss Luke’s memorial episode after Anthony Geary’s passing and the timing just stretched out the anticipation so much so that, by the time Monday rolls around, folks will be at the edge of their seats waiting to happen.

So kudos, General Hospital. But Willow? Plan these things out better next time! You may have taken a dark turn, but you’ve still got a lot to learn about scheming!
