The trailer for Outlander: Blood of My Blood episode 10 has dropped and fans can hardly wait as the stakes hit an all-time high. The teaser comes not long after the Outlander season eight trailer dropped and left fans wildly speculating about a mystery voice.
The 30-second teaser features flashbacks to Henry (played by Jeremy Irvine) and Julia Beauchamp (Hermione Norris) making their fateful journey to Inverness, Scotland and being parted from their daughter Claire Fraser (Caitríona Balfe).
Interspersed with the 20th century scenes are moments in the present timeline with Julia and Henry trying to get back to the stones with their baby William, only to have Balloch (Chick Allan) chasing her as she flees from Castle Leathers with her babe in arms.
The teaser also features Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy) and Murtagh Fitzgibbons (Rory Alexander) still trying to escape the men attempting to kill them from the previous episode.
After seeing their lives put on the line, it looks like Murtagh has a change of heart about his jealousy over his cousin Brian and Ellen MacKenzie’s (Harriet Slater) romance.

Murtagh tells Brian: “Yours is a the kind of love you hear about in legends.”
“That is why we must fight for it,” Brian tells him.
Meanwhile, it looks like Ellen’s nuptials to Malcolm Grant (Jhon Lumsden) are drawing ever closer as she reflects: “I always thought happiness was elusive.”
As the tension ramps up and it looks like Ellen flees from Castle Leoch with Brian, Colum MacKenzie (Séamus McLean Ross) is warned by the Grants: “There will be a price paid in blood.”
There’s also a brief shot of Malcolm looking angry as it appears the truth about her feelings comes to light.

The trailer ends with Brian declaring: “I will love her to my dying breath.”
Many fans have commented underneath the YouTube trailer with their theories, including one about Claire’s cameo in the Outlander prequel.
One person posted: “I think we are going to see a glimpse of Little Claire and Uncle Lamb at the train station, so excited for this finale, the show has been amazing! [sic]”
A second agreed: “Omg yes! I think you’re right!! So exciting! [sic]”
A third noted: “The fact that Julia and Henry waving goodbye to Claire on the train is the last time they see each other.”
Others speculated about how the season would wrap up, as one viewer suggested: “I hope Henry and Julia will pass through the stones and get into the 8th season of Outlander.”

Another predicted tragedy: “I think they will but the baby won’t be able to. They will probably end up in a different time as well because Claire was brought up by her Uncle.”
While someone else hypothesised: “Or …what if Julia only could travel because she was carrying the jewel (William). Henry wouldn’t part from her with the baby. Either way, it’d be so heartbreakingly cruel. I truly hope she meets her family.”
A fourth fan commented: “They never return to their time, Claire said her parents died in a car crash when young. I’m guessing baby William can’t go through the stones for some reason and that’s why they stay in the past.
“Would be nice if Outlander season 8 wraps up with Claire meeting her ( now elderly) parents and / or her brother.”
Another fan added: “It would be interesting, but that’s not in any of the books in the actual outlander and season eight is gonna books 8 and 9. I’m dying to know who the baby grows up to be.”
Fans are going to be waiting on tenterhooks with the Outlander: Blood of My Blood season one finale not airing until Friday, October 10 in the USA and on Saturday, October 11 in the UK.
Thankfully, season two is being filmed, so fans will be getting answers but it looks like season one could end things on a startling cliffhanger.
