The trailer for Outlander: Blood of My Blood episode 10 has been released and fans are barely able to contain their excitement as the drama reaches fever pitch, reports the Daily Record.
The preview arrives shortly after the Outlander season eight trailer was unveiled, leaving viewers frantically theorising about a mysterious voice.
The 30-second clip for the Blood of My Blood finale showcases flashbacks to Henry (portrayed by Jeremy Irvine) and Julia Beauchamp (Hermione Norris) embarking on their doomed voyage to Inverness, Scotland and becoming separated from their daughter Claire Fraser (Caitríona Balfe).
Woven between the 20th century sequences are glimpses of the current timeline featuring Julia and Henry desperately attempting to return to the stones with their infant William, whilst Balloch (Chick Allan) pursues her as she escapes Castle Leathers clutching her child.
The preview also shows Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy) and Murtagh Fitzgibbons (Rory Alexander) continuing their desperate bid to evade the assassins from the preceding episode.
Following their brush with death, it appears Murtagh experiences a shift regarding his envy over his cousin Brian and Ellen MacKenzie’s (Harriet Slater) love affair.

Murtagh declares to Brian: “Yours is a the kind of love you hear about in legends.
“That is why we must fight for it,” Brian responds.
Meanwhile, Ellen’s wedding to Malcolm Grant (Jhon Lumsden) appears to be rapidly approaching as she contemplates: “I always thought happiness was elusive.”
As the drama intensifies and Ellen appears to escape from Castle Leoch with Brian, Colum MacKenzie (Séamus McLean Ross) receives a chilling warning from the Grants: “There will be a price paid in blood.”
A fleeting glimpse of Malcolm’s fury is also shown as the truth about her feelings seems to surface.

The trailer concludes with Brian’s heartfelt declaration: “I will love her to my dying breath.”
Numerous fans have shared their theories under the YouTube trailer, including speculation about Claire’s cameo in the Outlander prequel.
One fan excitedly wrote: “I think we are going to see a glimpse of Little Claire and Uncle Lamb at the train station, so excited for this finale, the show has been amazing! [sic]”.
Another concurred: “Omg yes! I think you’re right! ! So exciting! [sic]”.
A third pointed out: “The fact that Julia and Henry waving goodbye to Claire on the train is the last time they see each other.”

Further speculation surrounds how the season will conclude, with one viewer suggesting: “I hope Henry and Julia will pass through the stones and get into the 8th season of Outlander.”
Another foresees tragedy: “I think they will but the baby won’t be able to. They will probably end up in a different time as well because Claire was brought up by her Uncle.”
While another hypothesised: “Or …what if Julia only could travel because she was carrying the jewel (William). Henry wouldn’t part from her with the baby. Either way, it’d be so heartbreakingly cruel. I truly hope she meets her family.”
One viewer remarked: “They never return to their time, Claire said her parents died in a car crash when young. I’m guessing baby William can’t go through the stones for some reason and that’s why they stay in the past.
“Would be nice if Outlander season 8 wraps up with Claire meeting her ( now elderly) parents and / or her brother.”
Another fan chimed in: “It would be interesting, but that’s not in any of the books in the actual outlander and season eight is gonna books 8 and 9. I’m dying to know who the baby grows up to be.”
Outlander: Blood of My Blood fans will be on the edge of their seats as the season one finale won’t air until Friday, October 10 in the USA and on Saturday, October 11 in the UK.
Fortunately, filming for season two is underway, promising answers to fans’ burning questions, although it seems season one might conclude with a shocking cliffhanger.
