Euphoria fans are getting a taste of what’s to come.

Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Alexa Demie, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer and Maude Apatow appear in new photos shared by HBO’s social media channels — four months before its long-awaited return for season 3.

On Friday, Dec. 12, the network shared on-set photos of the ensemble cast, just hours after unleashing a 2026 brand spot showcasing new footage of forthcoming season.

In the spot — which also included glimpses of other HBO and HBO Max projects such as The Pitt season 2, The Comeback season 3 and Rooster — Zendaya’s Rue Bennett dances at an apparent party, before appearing in a church as she can be heard saying that “there’s no turning back.”

Another glimpse at the season shows Demie, 35, Elordi, 28, Sweeney, 28, Schafer, 26, and crew “a few years after high school,” as a voice announces.

Fans also get a glimpse of actor Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who says to Rue, “You walk up into my house and you don’t even introduce yourself.”

Over on Instagram, HBO and HBO Max shared snaps of the main cast in their new worlds.

Elordi’s Nate Jacobs is making burgers at home in a polo, while Demie’s Maddy Perez poses for a snap, and Sweeney’s Cassie Howard holds a dripping ice cream cone.

Additionally, Zendaya’s Rue Bennett sits in church pews, Schafer’s Jules Vaughn kicks back in an art studio and Apatow’s Lexi Howard appears to be in the same location as Demie’s Perez.

Each post also included a brief line from the script from the characters — from Nate’s “you have to have faith” to Rue’s “life is precious.”

The new images also tie in with details that creator Sam Levinson has previously teased during a presentation at the beginning of the month.

Per Variety, he said that the new season is set five years after high school. Levinson also teased that Rue is “trying to come up with some very innovative ways” to pay off debt, Cassie and Nate are “living in the suburbs” and engaged, Jules is in art school, Maddy is “working in Hollywood at a talent agency for a manager” and Lexi “is an assistant to a showrunner played by Sharon Stone.”

Elordi also recently told Gwyneth Paltrow, via Variety, that he finished the new season and called it a “completely different thing.” He added that he thinks Nate is “nicer” this time around. “Whether it works or not, I don’t know,” he said.

HBO confirmed earlier this month that Euphoria‘s third season would be arriving in April 2026, over four years after the conclusion of the show’s second season. The Levinson series first hit the network in June 2019.

New cast members this season will include influencer Trisha Paytas, along with Natasha Lyonne, Eli Roth, Sam Trammell, Bella Podaras, Matthew Willig, Bill Bodner, Rebecca Pidgeon, Madison Thompson and multiple others.
