Introduced as the timid younger brother of Wednesday, Pugsley Addams could be hiding a major secret that could have serious consequences for characters in Wednesday Season 2. The Netflix hit starring Jenna Ortega in the lead has returned with a second season, bringing back Isaac Ordonez in a much bigger role as the youngest Addams, who appears to have come out of his shell.

And this season might not be ready for the mysterious new version of the character. With his newfound powers and a seat alongside his sister at Nevermore, Pugsley could turn out to be the secret that could change everything.

Isaac Ordonez Teases a Powered-Up Pugsley in Wednesday Season 2

After making a brief appearance in the first season, Isaac Ordonez now has a much bigger role in Season 2. And the actor has shared that the new season will bring forth more of the “quirky, devious, mischievous side” of his character, unlike the first season.

“We’ve got a lot more Pugsley this season,” he told ScreenRant in an interview, adding, “I really get to mess around with different sides of his character. In season 1, you see his more emotional side, but in this season, I think we get more of his quirky, devious, mischievous side.“

He also noted that this season would still focus on his vulnerabilities, with him having a hard time making friends at Nevermore. However, he has earned a sense of respect from his sister, especially now that he has powers. But it doesn’t stop her from using them to her advantage.

“Wednesday has gained a little more respect for him. But she also sees him now as a tool that she can use for her investigations,” he continued, suggesting that he would be joining his sister in her new adventures.

Season 2 has showcased that Pugsley now has electric powers similar to those of his Uncle Fester. It also suggests a much deeper and bigger involvement from the Addams family in itself, hinting at several more new possibilities for the new season.

Has Pugsley’s Secret Power Been the Addams Family’s Best-Kept Secret?

Following his brief appearance in Season 1, the youngest Addams is flipping the narrative of being the soft-spoken and emotional Addams on its head. The character is stepping out with powers enough to burn down a room.

However, the interesting question here is, how did he suddenly get his powers? While the mystery remains unsolved, it could be possible that the Addams family might have been keeping it a secret all along.

The show reveals him to be much more efficient in using his powers, hinting there’s certainly more to the character and his powers than meets the eye. And it also raises the question, could the Addams family have deliberately kept his abilities under wraps?

More likely, Wednesday herself might not be aware of the extent of her brother’s powers. And if Pugsley’s powers turn out to be as significant as it is seen so far in the show, it could shift the dynamic not only within the Addams Family but could possibly change the course of events at Nevermore as well.

Whatever he’s hiding, Pugsley’s transformation may be the Addams family’s most haunting mystery till now.
