Taylor Swift never misses an opportunity to plant an Easter egg, and last night’s appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert was no exception. In addition to her tiny velvet minidress, the pop star donned some sparkling accessories. Among them? An $8,000 choker necklace and a bracelet featuring one very important stone: opal.

Swifties immediately clocked the bracelet as a nod to Swift’s new track “Opalite.” As well, opal is Travis Kelce’s birthstone. Fittingly, the song is a kind of guide to finding love post-heartbreak.
“[An opalite] is a man-made opal and happiness can also be man-made,” Swift explained during an interview with Capital FM Breakfast. “That’s what the song is about. The juxtaposition of those two.”
Swift wasn’t on Colbert to talk about her pending nuptials, however. On the contrary, the “Cruel Summer” singer is currently hard at work promoting her new docuseries The End of an Era, which chronicles her record-breaking Eras tour. The six-part series drops on Disney+ on December 12.

In addition to her appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Swift also co-hosted a special screening of the The End of an Era on Tuesday, December 9. The pop star has been promoting the new docuseries on Instagram since mid-October.
“It was the End of an Era and we knew it,” she wrote in one post. “We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down.”
