Outlander: Blood of My Blood will screen its penultimate episode this week as the drama intensifies ahead of the finale, following confirmation that season two is in production and fans were thrown into chaos by an Outlander season eight theory, reports the Daily Record.
After episode eight, Starz unveiled a brief teaser for the ninth chapter of the Outlander prequel series.
The preview begins menacingly as Ellen MacKenzie (portrayed by Harriet Slater) receives a chilling warning from Clan Grant when her future husband’s uncle declares: “If you break my nephew’s heart, I’ll rip your own from your chest.”
Ellen and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy) encounter each other once more and she warns him: “It’s dangerous for both of us. We must be careful.”
They momentarily clasp hands and it seems that Lord Lovat (Tony Curran) notices the tenderness between the two clandestine lovers.

Meanwhile, Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine) informs Ned Gowan (Conor MacNeill): “My wife and my child are here. Might I ask of you one thing?”
As tensions escalate, Malcolm Grant (Jhon Lumsden) strolls with Ellen and declares: “I don’t want to waste time. I want you to be my lady.”
Ellen is visibly torn and in the following scene, she’s weeping as she faces making a momentous choice.
Adding another layer of mystery, it appears that Dougal MacKenzie (Sam Retford) and his brother Colum MacKenzie (Séamus McLean Ross) are also in disagreement with discord brewing between them. “What are you hiding from me?” Colum questions his brother, with Dougal appearing rather guilty.

A crucial meeting between Henry and Brian is also hinted at, suggesting a potential plan to aid the Beauchamps in their return to the future.
The trailer concludes with another ominous warning from Miss Fitz (Sally Messham): “One of you will be dead.”
The ninth episode, titled Braemar, is linked with Jacobite uprisings, indicating it could play a pivotal role in clan politics and perhaps shed light on Dougal’s guilt over his loyalties.
As Julia and Henry reunite, the stakes rise as they attempt to escape back to the future as a family. Whether they’ll succeed remains uncertain.
Meanwhile, both Ellen and Brian’s lives hang in the balance if their love affair becomes public knowledge and time runs out.

Considering what Outlander fans already know, Ellen and Brian face a challenging journey ahead, fraught with danger and resistance to their romance.
The stars of Outlander: Blood of My Blood have already given hints about season two, with star Irvine telling the Radio Times: “Where we leave season one of our show and we begin it again, we are in a wildly different place in season two. I mean, it shocked me. It gets crazier and crazier.”
The cast confessed that they were discovering all the plot twists as they received the scripts, consistently taken aback by the storyline developments.
